Next production
We are pleased to announce that the 2011 musical production will be The Vackees. The production will be at the Dovehouse Theatre on March 23-26.
The Vackees tells the funny and at times extremely moving story of the evacuation of children from London to avoid the bombing at the outbreak of the Second World War, and the implications and upheavals for both children and adults involved. The London kids struggle to get on in the countryside with unfamiliar households and rules. When the local youngsters don’t take kindly to the ‘invaders’, a different type of war seems imminent. With a memorable, tuneful score by famous TV and film composer Carl Davis, this evocative musical, with many big production numbers, offers a great show for a large cast.
