SMASH’s next production at the Dovehouse Theatre in March 2010 (24th-27th) is a musical version of the very popular story, The Railway Children.
As usual it has a large cast of all ages. We invited anyone interested in finding out more about the production, either on stage or helping backstage, to come to a workshop in July. Nearly 50 people came and we reviewed the story and listened to some of the music. In addition, everyone adopted different characters and our director encouraged them to develop various scenes – either in London or the country to where the family moved.
